Vasyl Baranov: We set the guys up for an attacking game

Head coach of FC Kudrivka Vasyl Baranov commented on the home match of the 23rd round of the UPL against Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas - 1:2 on UPL TV.

- Vasyl Anatoliyovych, did you believe that the team could win?

- Of course, the instruction was that we need to score points. Ideally, it should be three points. That's why we set the guys up for an attacking game, that we need to look for happiness near the other team's goal and as few as possible so that there are chances near our goal. We didn't manage to realize the number of chances that we created (and we created a lot). And we need to score one goal more than the opponent.

Unfortunately, we conceded the first goal after a mistake, which was not necessary, such an unfortunate mistake. We controlled the game, created chances, and I think we had more goal-scoring episodes. The opposing team played more on counterattacks, they scored a goal, and then it was easier for them, but they also had their chances, I admit. But, I think, the score was not according to the game.

I take responsibility in the sense that when the score was 1:1, I shouted at the guys, because I felt that they did not want to close and keep one point. We needed more, and we wanted to, we created chances... But today luck was not on our side.
