Veronika Neposhyvailenko and Anna Liakh have received a call-up to the Ukraine girls' U-17 national team

Veronika Neposhyvailenko and Anna Liakh, players for the Kryvyi Rih-based women's football club Kryvbas, have been called up to the Ukraine WU-17 national team.

From October 2 to 5, the Ukrainian squad will hold a training camp in Lviv. Afterward, the team will travel to Glasgow, Scotland, to compete in the first qualifying round of the 2027 European Championship from October 6 to 15.

At this stage, the Ukraine WU-17 team is set to play three matches. This is not the first call-up for Anna Liakh and Veronika Neposhyvailenko; both players have previously represented Ukraine at the international youth level and have proudly represented Kryvbas while playing for the national team.

In the current 2026/2027 season, Liakh has played 10 matches for the "Red-and-Whites" in the Prime League, while Neposhyvailenko has also played 10 matches, scoring one goal.
