Goalkeeper of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Volodymyr Makhankov commented on the away win over Lviv Ruh - 2:1 in the 9th round of the UPL.

- Volodymyr, how can you summarize the match?

- It is always difficult to play at Arena Lviv. Ruh is a very uncomfortable opponent for us. But, thank God, we managed to hold on to the victory. We continue to work hard to please our fans and ourselves.

- Was the ending really nervous?

- Yes, but we could have scored on a counterattack. It is always difficult when you defend the result in the last minutes - it is a little nervous, because you really want to win. In our championship, such matches often occur: the team that loses goes ahead, and the one that wins keeps the score. For us, these are very important points, because the championship is in full swing now.

- Did we expect such a match in Lviv or was there anything surprising?

- We watched many matches of Ruh and understood well that this is an intense, aggressive team. Their recent results speak for themselves: victories over Polissya at home and over Kolos away. We were clearly aware of where we were going. We are very happy that we were able to take three points, because we had never won in Lviv before.
