Volodymyr Mulyk: Hobbies? I enjoy tennis and fishing

- Volodymyr, when did you realize that you wanted to become a professional player?

- It was not some spontaneous decision. I have been playing football since childhood: in the village, in the yard, with my friends. Somehow, gradually, I liked this game more and more. Then my parents took me to my first training in the football section, and that's how it all started.

- Who was your football idol in childhood?

- Well, in general, my idol has always been, in principle, and remains now, it's Cristiano Ronaldo. An incredible person, an incredible football player. A legend of world football. Number one for me.

- What is the most difficult thing for you in the position of forward?

- The most difficult thing is that you have to work very hard, do a lot of running work, react quickly and correctly to certain moments in the game, think a lot, open up correctly. It's like you haven't forgotten anything (smiles).

- How does your typical training day go?

- First of all, it all starts with preparation for training. For example, some kind of activation in the gym, work to activate the muscles and prepare yourself properly for the loads. Then there is the training itself, and after it, of course, there should be recovery. Sauna, or massage, or some other recovery procedures.

- Do you have any hobbies that help you recover?

- I like tennis when I have free time. Or fishing - I also really love it when I come home and can go with my parents or friends to relax and go fishing at the same time.

- Share: what moment in your career do you currently consider the most important?

- Probably the one that was remembered the most was my debut as part of Kryvbas in the UPL. It was on May 12, 2024 against Dynamo at the Hirnyk Stadium. Then, unfortunately, we lost 0:2.

- Where do you see yourself in a few years?

- Generally speaking, of course, I see myself continuing in football. I can't imagine my life without this sport. I want to continue to progress.
