Volodymyr Mulyk: I want to realize my dream and score my debut goal in the UPL

The forward of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Volodymyr Mulyk talked about his progress in the club's main team, and also shared his dream.

- Tell me a little about yourself - where did you start, how did you get to Kryvbas?

- I started in Vinnytsia Nyva, then Vitalii Kosovskyi invited me to Kryvbas U-19. I agreed, went to watch, and only then did I stay with the team and sign a contract.

- Who was an example for you in football? Whose game did you admire?

- I always admired Cristiano Ronaldo's game, took his work and discipline as an example. Even now I continue to learn a lot from him and learn something new.

- What are the main characteristics that a striker should have in modern football?

- In my opinion, you need to have a great desire to work, be able to be in the right place and at the right time, look for your chance and always ask for the ball, be stubborn on the field and purposeful.

- Your impressions of your debut in Kryvbas.

- The impressions were unsurpassed. I waited a very long time for my debut, worked hard and prepared first in the U-19 team. I tried to prove myself. Then I got my chance in the first team, for which I am very grateful to the coaching staff and the club management.

- How do you assess this season for yourself?

- Overall, I assess it well, but I still need to improve many moments in the game. Overall, the season is going well: I made my debut, came on as a substitute, gave my first assist (in the match with Kudrivka, Mendoza scored from Mulyk's pass). You can say that I am satisfied with how things are going for me.

- Is the competition in the attack of Kryvbas serious? Who can you name among the forwards?

- All our attacking players are very strong. You can learn a lot from each of them in the game, in training and outside of training. These are Mendoza, Paraco, Bar Lin, and others. Each of them has their own strong qualities, and you can take something from each of them in terms of football.

- Kryvbas is currently training in Spain. What tasks are set for the team in terms of physics, tactics and game moments?

- First of all, it is very important to lay the foundation for the second half of the championship. That is why we work a lot on physical preparation. At every training session, we pay a lot of attention to this component. We also work a lot on tactical moments. Every day we have a theory where we analyze our game and the game of our opponents.

- What tasks do you set for yourself in the second part of the season?

- I want to play as much as possible. Of course, I want to realize my dream and score my first goal in the Ukrainian championship. And I strive to achieve the highest possible goals with the team this season.
