Volodymyr Mulyk: The friendly match against Shakhtar is an opportunity for every player to test themselves

Volodymyr Mulyk, a forward for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, discusses preparations for the friendly match against Shakhtar and the team's work during the international break.

- Several players are currently away with national teams. Does this change the nature of the training sessions?

- No, we give it our all in every training session, putting in maximum effort and dedication. This is crucial, as we are diligently preparing for upcoming matches.

- Does the international break offer a chance to work more on individual aspects of the game?

- It provides an opportunity for productive work, both as a team and individually. During this break, we can refine specific elements in the gym or directly on the pitch - for instance, during a second training session. Players have the chance to focus on the specific requirements of their positions, and that is exactly what we are doing.

- What are your personal expectations for the friendly against Shakhtar?

- Personally, I expect a very interesting match. They are a formidable opponent, and facing them is a great opportunity for every player to prove themselves, showcase their skills, and test their abilities. Naturally, executing our game plan and implementing the strategies set by the head coach will be key. We are preparing by working on various formations and tactical options, though the result remains important nonetheless.
