Volodymyr Vilivald: People want to see a victory in Kryvyi Rih

Volodymyr Vilivald, a defender for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, сaptain of the team, discusses preparations for the UPL Matchday 9 home game against LNZ Cherkasy.

- You’ve returned from the Ukraine U-21 national team camp. How did the training camp go, and what are your impressions of the matches?

- My impressions are entirely positive. The trip with the U-21 team was a great experience for me. While we fell a bit short of qualifying for the Euros, we played some solid matches. Personally, I’m glad I got some playing time - even though they were friendly matches, I really enjoyed it.

- How do you feel about the support from the local fans right now?

- Many people are reaching out and sending messages; everyone in Kryvyi Rih has missed football and is eager to see a win. I believe that victory will come soon. We will definitely bring some positive emotions to this city and our fans!

- What are you expecting from the match against LNZ?

- LNZ is a decent team. I believe we need to prepare very thoroughly for this game. We are aware of both their strengths and their weaknesses. We know they tend to play a more direct, vertical style of football, so, in my opinion, total commitment and the desire to win will be the deciding factors.
