Yakson Rivas: I am incredibly happy and thank God for this debut in the Kryvbas team

Venezuelan midfielder of Kryvyi Rih Kryvyi Rih Kryvyi Rih, a newcomer to the team, Yakson Rivas, shared his thoughts on the home draw in the match of the 3rd round of the UPL against Kyiv's Livyi Bereh - 1:1.

- Debut for Kryvyi Rih and immediately a goal. What are the emotions after such a start?

- I am incredibly happy and thank God for this debut in the Kryvbas team. Very happy. True, the goal left a bit of a bitter taste, because we could not win. But this happens. We continue to work, because everything is just beginning. I hope this is only the first goal of many.

- The team was leading, but played 1:1. How did you feel after the final whistle?

- The match turned out to be difficult, especially after our player was sent off. We were left in the minority, so we had to run more, fight more. The opponent found his chance and equalized the score. But I want to note the work of the whole team - we fought until the last minute. We got one point. This is not quite the result we were aiming for, but we will continue to work.

- How quickly did you manage to feel mutual understanding with your partners?

- As for the adaptation, it went quite quickly. I have been working with the team for a long time, since pre-season training. The guys helped me a lot to adapt, and I was able to quickly integrate into the team.

- What does this goal mean to you personally?

- I feel great joy about my debut goal. This is my first experience in Europe, and to start it like this - with a goal scored - is incredibly nice. I hope that I will be able to continue working in the same spirit, do my job well, and with God's help we will achieve good results and get pleasure from it.
