Jan Jurcec: Fans are our 12th player, we played both for them and for ourselves

Croatian defender of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas Jan Jurcec shared thoughts after the home wins in the 4th round of UPL above Kyiv Obolon - 2:1.

- The support of the fans was heard that they had missed the team. Did the players feel it?

- Of course, today's match was played with loud support from the stands from the first minute. This means a lot to me, to the team, to the entire coaching staff. They are our twelfth player. We played for them and for ourselves, and everyone is happy about it.

- Did you play Obolon so how did you plan?

- Indeed, they played about the way we prepared in training. But in the first half we were a little nervous. There was also a wind, so it was difficult to influence the game as I wanted. But in the end we took three Points - and that's the main thing.

- The first half turned out to be difficult. What was the conversation with the coach in the break?

- After the first 45 minutes we really were a little tense as I said. In the locker room at first they just rested, drank water, breathed. Then the coach explained what we were doing wrong and what to improve both the team and every player. We listened to his guidelines: we needed to move the ball faster and play in the areas where our players were. The plan for the second half worked.
