Yaroslav Shevchenko, a midfielder for Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, shared his thoughts on the UPL Round 10 away match against Bukovyna Chernivtsi, which ended in a 0:0 draw.
- How would you assess the outcome of the match?
- First of all, I’d like to congratulate the team on earning a point. I believe it was a game where we could have taken all three points - we deserved them, both in terms of our overall performance and the chances we created. Still, all things considered, it’s good that we managed to secure at least this result.
- The team recently appointed a new head coach. How has the adaptation to the new requirements gone?
- We had very little time to prepare. However, the guys adapted to the new coach, Oleksandr Vasylovych, as quickly as possible. We switched to a different tactical setup, and I believe we fully executed all of his instructions.
- What can you say about working under the guidance of Oleksandr Petrakov?
- He is a very experienced specialist; we all understand that perfectly well. Naturally, it wasn’t easy given the lack of time, but we approached the match with maximum focus, took in all the coaching staff's requirements, and managed to secure this point.
