Yurii Vernydub: We are ready for a tough confrontation and a hot game

- We were waiting for these European Cup matches. Betis - Spanish team, from the top 5 European leagues. We are very pleased to be here. I understand that the first match we lost 0: 2, but tomorrow is the second match. We will go out and play, and there we will see who will receive a ticket to the group stage of the League of Conferences. All the boys are healthy, all are ready for battle.

- How do you appreciate the opponent?

- in Betis and good fast football players, high levels. It will not be easy for us in Spain, here, at this stadium. But we are ready for a heavy confrontation, a hot game. For us, this game will remain in memory for life, because we present Ukraine and do everything to look the best.

- Are all your players ready to confront?

- in terms of composition, then all healthy. There will not be just Prince Adu striker, who went to Victoria Plzen. But we will find him a replacement. I am very counting on a player who will come tomorrow at the attacker's position. I hope he will be able to prove himself as best as possible. In general, I think our starting warehouse is very different from the one that was in Kosice.

- How do you prepare for matches and play the championship of Ukraine in war conditions?

- conditions are very complicated. The third year in Ukraine is war. We understand that. But you still have to live and survive it. We will still defeat and protect our families and children from the invasion of orcs. It is really difficult to prepare for matches. Plus crossings. They got to Spain for two days, but my boys were ready for it. Also in the UPL matches often stop and we go to bomb shelter. But this is our life today in Ukraine. I hope it will all end as soon as possible and we will be able to return to a peaceful life.

You all know that yesterday and today in our hometown Kryvyi Rih there were arrivals of ballistic missiles on civilian objects. Yesterday - at the Aurora Hotel, where people work in no way. Many victims: men, women, children. Today in Kryvyi Rih the day of mourning. We would like to support our Ukrainian people. We really want this war to end sooner and stop losing our loved ones, our children. One of the motivations for us tomorrow is our fans. Let's do everything to please and support them.
