Women Kryvbas continues its performance in the Ukrainian Women's Championship of the 2026/2027 season. In the 9th round of the Prime League, the red-and-whites will meet with Women Kharkiv.
In the previous meeting between the teams, which took place in the 2nd round of the Prime League of the current season, Women Kharkiv won with a score of 4:1. Therefore, the upcoming match will be an opportunity for the red-and-whites to take revenge and improve their tournament achievements.
In the last round of the championship, Kryvbas drew at home with the Pantery - 1:1. Stakhniuk scored a goal for our team, opening the score with a well-aimed shot from afar in the 34th minute. After the break, the rivals managed to equalize the score.
The rivals, in turn, are approaching the head-to-head confrontation in good shape. In the last round, the Kharkiv team won an away victory over Kolos - 1:0. Before that, they confidently defeated Shakhtar with a score of 4:0. Kharkiv is among the leaders of the championship. The team has not suffered a single defeat in five matches played, having won four and drawn one.
The Kharkiv team has 19 points and a goal difference of 22:2. Kryvbas currently has one five points after eight matches. Thus, the red and white team will face a difficult test against one of the strongest teams in the championship. At the same time, the home match at the Sparta stadium will be an opportunity for our young team to demonstrate character, give a fight to the favorites and fight for a positive result.
