Women Kharkiv - Women Kryvbas: October 3 at 12:00

On Friday, October 3, WFC Kryvbas will play its first match of the 2026/27 Ukrainian Cup season. In the Round of 16, the Red-and-Whites will face Women Kharkiv at the Kolos Stadium in Boryspil. The cup tie consists of a single match; if the score is level after regulation time, the winner will be decided by a penalty shootout.

The opponents are well acquainted with each other. Their last head-to-head meeting took place quite recently - on September 15 during Matchday 9 of the Prime League. Kharkiv won that match 5:1, with Neposhyvailenko scoring Kryvbas's only goal.

The teams also faced each other in the previous Ukrainian Cup campaign. On November 19, 2025, they played a quarter-final match in Kryvyi Rih. Kharkiv won 1:0 thanks to a 7th-minute goal by Olkhova and advanced to the next round.

It was the Kharkiv team that ultimately won the 2025/26 Ukrainian Cup, defeating Kolos 1:0 in the final on May 27. Kryvbas thus faces a significant cup challenge against the defending champions.
