Kryvyi Rih Women "Kryvbas" played the first match of the second stage of the Higher League. In the 1st round, our team met at home with Vinnytsia Women "EMS-Podillya".

Like a week and a half ago, our team managed to win confidently, although more effort was made. Already in the 25th minute we opened the scoring. Nazarenko earned a penalty (the ball hit the defender's hand), and Stakhnyuk easily converted it - 1:0. Despite the attack and the advantage, our girls conceded in response at the beginning of the second half.

Sichko converted a one-on-one - 1:1. But soon the hosts were ahead again. After a flank pass by Nazarenko, Horodetska scored with an accurate shot into the far corner - 2:1. Later, "Kryvbas" consolidated the advantage. Kozub scored after a corner and a goalkeeper's mistake, and Nazarenko after a pass from the left flank. 4:1 - congratulations to our young team!

The next match of the Higher League is this Wednesday, March 25, away against ŽFK "Polissya" in the 2nd round.
