Women "Kryvbas" - Women "Polissia" 1:2

Kryvyi Rih FC "Kryvbas" hosted Zhytomyr FC "Polissya" in the first home match of the new season of the Higher League of the Championship of Ukraine. The opponents are debutants of the competition, but, nevertheless, they managed to give a fight to our team, which also continues to gain experience.

The first half remained for the red and whites, who created chances and were obliged to score at least a few times. But we scored only in the 36th minute. Kolodiy went down the right flank and shot past the goalkeeper at Kovalova. Iryna punched and the ball flew into the goal from Ivanchenko, on which the goal was scored - 1:0.

After the break, the game did not change: the women from Kryvyi Rih had the advantage and attacked. The Zhytomyr women rarely answered, but they were lucky to equalize in the 69th minute. Pruning at our gate cost us dearly. Polissya quickly organized a face-to-face exit. Trill beat Kalinchuk and rolled the ball into the empty net - 1:1.

"Kryvbas" rushed forward to grab the victory, but ran into a counterattack already in the compensated time. Tril managed a powerful shot into the near corner from the line of the penalty area - 1:2. Unfortunately, no points today. But we continue to believe and support our young team, which today definitely did not deserve such a result.

The red-whites will play their next match in a week: on Wednesday, on 21 August, in the 3rd round on the road against ZhFK "Kolos".
