Women Kryvbas - Women Shakhtar 1:1

Kryvyi Rih Women "Kryvbas" held another match of the new season of the Vyshcha League. As part of the 9th round of the first stage, our team hosted Donetsk Women "Shakhtar".

The match turned out to be a fighting and tense match until the last minute. In the first half, despite the moments from both sides, we did not see any goals. But at the beginning of the second, the teams quickly exchanged accurate shots.

Stakhnyuk managed to score a great free kick into the near corner, and Genyk successfully played a finishing move to eliminate Solovyova's not-so-successful play after a free kick. At the end of the match, our goalkeeper Solovyova managed to earn her third penalty of the season, roughly fouling her opponent outside the penalty area.

The guests put pressure on most of the time, but our team held on to a draw - 1:1. Next match - on Monday, October 20, at home against Women Polissya in the postponed match of the 15th round.
