Kryvyi Rih FC "Kryvbas" played the second official match in the new year. As part of the 2nd round of the second stage of the Higher League of the Championship of Ukraine, our team hosted Poltava ZFK "Vorskla" in their native walls. 

It was the central match not only of the tour, but also, perhaps, of the entire championship. Our girls started well, not allowing the opponents to create any chances. However, the guests were lucky to score a quick goal when Osipyan beat Kelyushik from the penalty area - 0:1.

In response, the Kryvyi Rih women made several good attacks, but the "Vorskla" defense played reliably. At the beginning of the second half, there was a good attack: Kozishkurt passed to Kolodiy and Daria equalized with a cool shot under the crossbar, scoring her debut official goal for Kryvbas - 1:1!

However, the rivals quickly took the lead again, when Kozlova was given the opportunity to break through from the goalkeeper's corner - 1:2. The red-and-whites did not give up and had good chances to win again, but "Vorskla" won the match with experience and topped the table. We should also note Podolska's unscored penalty in the 62nd minute.

The ball hit both posts and did not cross the goal line. Finishing right here, but Kelyuszyk played just great and took the leather on the second attempt. We can only applaud our team, which gave a real fight to the title rival today. Let's move on.
