Women "Metalist 1925" - Women "Kryvbas" 6:0

Kryvyi Rih’s women's FC Kryvbas faced Metalist 1925 Women in an away match in the Round of 16 of the Ukrainian Cup.

The match got off to a disastrous start for the "Red-and-Whites." Just three minutes in, former Kryvbas player Basanska opened the scoring by capitalizing on her chance. The hosts kept up the pressure and soon doubled their lead; in the 11th minute, Basanska netted her second goal, making it 2:0.

Kryvbas tried to respond, but the Kharkiv side controlled the flow of the game and created dangerous chances near Soloviova’s goal. Molodiuk scored the third goal in the 13th minute, and five minutes later, she extended Metalist 1925’s lead to four goals.

After the break, the Kryvyi Rih team attempted to narrow the deficit and played more aggressively in attack. However, the hosts prevented them from creating any significant threats near their own goal. In the 62nd minute, another former Kryvbas player, Bielkina, scored Metalist 1925’s fifth goal. Three minutes later, Paskarenko set the final score at 6:0.

Thus, Kryvbas’s campaign in the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Cup came to an end in the Round of 16. The next official match is on October 18 against "Seasters" in Odesa, as part of Matchday 12 of the Prime League.
