Women Seasters - Women Kryvbas: October 19 at 13:00

On Monday, October 19, the Kryvbas women's team will play an away match in the 12th round of the Ukrainian Women's Football Championship. Their opponents will be WFC Seasters from Odesa.

The two teams previously met in the first half of the current championship on August 18 in Kryvyi Rih. On that occasion, Sisters secured a narrow 1:0 victory, with the match decided by a penalty kick converted by Colmenares in the 39th minute. After the break, the Kryvyi Rih side attempted to fight back but were unable to level the score.

Seasters head into this encounter following a 1:1 draw away against Kolos on September 27. Prior to that, the Odesa side lost 0:1 to Metalist 1925 but claimed a resounding 7:0 victory over Pantery. Furthermore, the team successfully advanced through the Round of 16 of the Ukrainian Cup by defeating Shakhtar 2:1.

In the previous round of the championship on September 27, Kryvbas suffered a 0:1 home defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk. Before that, the team had lost 0:3 to Kolos and 1:5 to Metalist 1925. In the Ukrainian Cup, the Kryvyi Rih side was also defeated by the Kharkiv-based team, losing 0:6. Heading into this match, Seasters sit in fourth place in the Prime League standings with 21 points from 10 matches. The Odesa side has recorded six wins, three draws, and one defeat.

Kryvbas currently sits in seventh place, with five points from 11 matches. The "Red-and-Whites" have secured one victory, drawn twice, and suffered eight losses. A challenging away encounter against one of the league leaders awaits the team from Kryvyi Rih. Nevertheless, every match presents a fresh opportunity to turn things around, break a poor run of form, and add to their points tally.
