João Machado: My adaptation is going very comfortably

Defender of Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas João Machado commented on the final friendly match at the summer training camp - against Kyiv's Livny Bereh (5:3).

- João, the team won a decisive victory in the friendly match. What are your impressions of the game?

- In general, everything is good. We are gradually approaching the start of the championship, and this match was a good test for us. We managed to get the most out of it, and the result speaks for itself. At the same time, the most important thing now is physical readiness. We need to continue to work hard in training and make the most of this time to approach the start of the season in the best shape.

- You recently joined Kryvyi Rih. How is your adaptation to the new team going?

- I have been with the team for two weeks now, and it has been a great two weeks. Every day I feel better and better physically and I am gradually adapting. I have a good relationship with all the guys, although so far I communicate the most with Jimmy Mpanzu, because he is also Portuguese, so it is a little easier for us to find a common language. I also get along well with Borges, who is Brazilian, and with Satchwell.

- What are your first impressions of Kryvbas and the atmosphere within the team?

- In general, everything is going very well. We have a great team, a wonderful coaching staff and a very friendly team. I was warmly welcomed, constantly supported, so my adaptation is going very comfortably.
