Juan Machado: Moving to Kryvbas is a great opportunity for me

The defender of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas", the second summer rookie of the team, Juan Mashadou, gave his first interview as a football player of the red and white team.

- Tell me, please, where did your football journey begin?

- I started playing football at the Domingos Desportivo de Savio academy in Lisbon. Then he moved to Belenenses, after that he studied at the Benfica academy, and later returned to Belenenses.

- In which position do you feel most comfortable?

- My favorite position is right defender.

- What qualities, in your opinion, are the most important for a modern football player?

- The most important thing for me in football is mentality. You need to be aggressive in a good way, persistent and never give up. This is what I consider the main quality of a football player.

- Why did you decide to move to Kryvbas?

- Transfer to "Kryvbas" is a great opportunity for me. Good conditions for training, development and professional growth have been created here. This is exactly what I strive for - to progress and become stronger.

- What are your personal goals for the new season?

- My main goal is to play as much as possible and constantly improve.

- How is your adaptation in the new team going?

- Adaptation is going very well. I was well received by the team, good people work here, everyone is very friendly and helps me get used to it. I have already met almost all the boys.

- Who was your football idol in your childhood?

- Cristiano Ronaldo has been and remains my idol since childhood.

- Which match in your career do you consider to be the best?

- For me, it's always the next game. She is the most important.

- What was the most memorable moment in your career?

- If we talk about the most memorable moment, it is the first goal in professional football. Last season, I scored against Academia in an away match in the Portuguese championship, and that goal will always be special to me.

- How do you usually prepare for matches?

- I prepare for every match in the same way. All games are important to me. I try to eat right, drink enough water and rest well.

- What is the most important thing in football for you?

- The most important thing is to win. It is for the sake of victories that we enter the field.
