"Zorya" - "Kryvbas". Preview

On Sunday, August 9, Kryvbas will play the first away match of the new season of the Ukrainian Premier League. In the 2nd round, the red and whites will meet with Zorya Luhansk in Kyiv. Both teams started the championship differently. In the opening round, Kryvbas lost to Karpaty at home – 1:4, so Patrick van Leeuwen's team will strive to rehabilitate and score the first points of the new season.

In contrast, Zorya started well, winning a home victory over Kolos with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they approach the head-to-head confrontation in a good mood. The last time the rivals met was on March 1, 2026, in the 18th round of the UPL. Then Kryvbas won in a strong style – 3:1. After a quick goal, Kryvyi Rih responded with goals from Bar Lin, Zaderaka and Mendoza and scored three points to their credit.

Another difficult test awaits the red and whites ahead. Both teams are set for a positive result, and therefore the fans can expect an interesting and uncompromising confrontation at the capital's Dynamo Valery Lobanovskyi Stadium. Our team leaves for the game on Saturday.
