FC "Kryvbas" organizes Parafan Club Kryvbas
As we have already told before, a special guest came to the base of FC "Kryvbas" - a pupil of the Youth School #1 "Kryvbas-84" Vladyslav Mykytyuk, a boy who, two months ago, received a serious injury: a closed fracture of two vertebrae with impaired spinal cord functions. Vladyslav underwent a complex operation and metal structures were installed on the damaged area of the spine. Ahead of the young man is a long period of recovery, struggle and, we are sure, a return to active life and even sports.
Our Club together with the NGO "Movement without Borders" has been working for a long time to create a fan club of FC "Kryvbas" for people with disabilities. This was announced by Club Vice President Artem Gagarin at a meeting with the young football player and representatives of the public organization. Artem Serhiyovych also talked about the nearest plans and steps in this direction.
"Parafan Club Kryvbas - to be. We have been developing the idea of creating this project for a long time, but unfortunately, due to the full-scale invasion and the ban on visiting matches for fans, we were forced to postpone its implementation. The situation that happened with Vladyslav shocked the whole big football family of Kryvyi Rih, and at the same time united us all. Parafan Club Kryvbas is the adaptation and socialization of people with disabilities, as well as our war veterans, now is more timely than ever," he noted Artem Serhiyovych.
The vice-president of FC "Kryvbas" offered Vladyslav Mykytyuk to head the Parafan Club Kryvbas, to become its leader. "We believe that you will definitely get back on your feet. But this situation, this trauma will remain in your memory for the rest of your life. But understanding all the problems faced by people with disabilities will be an incentive in the fight for barrier-free access," Gagarin emphasized.
Vladislav without hesitation accepted the offer of FC "Kryvbas" and admitted: "I am interested in leading the Parafan Club Kryvbas. It will be a useful and cool experience for me. I want to help people and do cool things."
