We continue to remember the 2020/2021 season and those football players who helped Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas" to rise in class. Our revived team entered the First League in 2021. Yes, some players later left Kryvyi Rih, but this is no reason not to remember and thank them for their contribution to the success of the club. The third part of the material is for your attention.
Striker Oleksandr Mishurenko, 33 years old - 7 matches, 3 goals, 1 assist.
An experienced forward, the soul of the team. Before that, he played for "Ingulets" for six years, with whom he reached the UPL, transferred to "Kryvbas" in the middle of the season. In October, he made his debut for the red and white team in Novaya Kakhovka against "Energia", where he immediately scored an important goal - 4:2. In the spring of 2021, he was seriously injured during one of the training sessions, due to which he managed to play only 3 matches in the second round.
He left Kryvyi Rih in the summer offseason before the debut of "Kryvbas" in the First League. In the summer of 2021, he moved to Tomakivsk "Skoruk", in which he performs to this day. Helped the team debut in the First League. Currently, "Skoruk" is the middle peasant of the division, and Mishurenko has scored 32 goals for Tomakovsky in 12 matches in two years.
Defender Hleb Popchuk, 22 years old – 8 matches.
The pupil of Kryvyi Rih football started the season of the Second League as a reserve player, but due to injuries of some performers, he got his chance and established himself in the base at the end of the first half of the championship. He managed to play 2021 matches in 6 - all in the starting lineup. However, in the second round after the winter break, he already played little (only 2 matches).
In the summer of 2021, Popchuk went on loan to the second division "Krystal", where he was a key player in the first round - 16 matches, in 11 of which he spent all 90 minutes on the field. In the winter of 2022, he returned to Kryvbas after the end of his lease. He was in Kryvyi Rih with the beginning of the Rashist war against Ukraine.
In the summer, after it became known that the new UPL season would take place, Yuriy Vernydub held training sessions together with the new Kryvbas team. However, he failed to gain a foothold in the team, and in September 2022 he left Kryvyi Rih by mutual consent of the parties. Currently, he is a player of the first league "Prykarpattia". In the second part of the First League season in the new team, he has played 6 matches so far.
Midfielder Serhii Gvozdevych, 38 years old – 2 matches, 1 assist.
A legend of Kryvyi Rih football, a pupil of the red-white school. More than 200 matches at the professional level, many important and beautiful goals. He devoted most of his career to "Miner" from Kryvyi Rih. A versatile football player, a person with a capital letter, a true friend and comrade, and now a faithful husband and a good father to his daughter.
He managed to play only 2 matches for Kryvbas, after which he announced the end of his career. In the home match against "Nikopol" - 6:1, the team saw off the legend of Kryvyi Rih football to the applause of the stadium. Serhii Viktorovych is currently the senior coach of Kryvbas U-16. He has been working at the Kryvbas Academy since 2021, and in the 2020/021 season he worked as a coach of Kryvbas-2. Kryvyi Rih managed to win the 2021 Winter Championship of Kryvyi Rih with a double.
Midfielder Ihor Buka, 33 years old - 9 matches, 1 goal, 2 assists.
Another, without exaggeration, legendary football player of Kryvyi Rih, a pupil of the red-white school. Like Gvozdevych, he gave most of his career to "Miner". He scored his only goal as part of Kryvbas against Nikopol on September 11, 2020 – 6:1. A fast left-footed winger in the spring of 2021, he left "Kryvbas" and transferred to "LNZ", which was then just preparing for its debut in the PFL.
However, he did not play for "LNZ" for a short time. Soon after that, in 2021, he ended his career as a professional player. In the same year, he moved to Israel, where he still lives. Igor is engaged in activities that are not related to football.
Midfielder Andrii Shmat, 26 years old - 4 matches.
Another local pet. In the first round of the 2020/2021 Second League season, he played 4 matches - only 122 minutes, appearing only as a substitute. After that, he defended the colors of "Crystal" - 9 matches in 2021. Then he went to Poland, where he played in the "Huchva" club in one of the lower divisions of the local championship. Before the start of the Rashist invasion, he became a player of the second league "Lyubomir".
But he did not have time to debut for the new team. Since 2022, he has been playing for Mykolaiv "VAST", a middle-class team of the Second League. He currently has 14 matches for Mykolaiv, 769 minutes on the field, 7 warnings in the passive.
