Oleksii Sorokolet: "Kryvbas" Academy gives you the opportunity to realize yourself

Oleksiy Sorokolet became interested in football as a child, from the age of 7. The boy's father is a football fan who played at the amateur level. Oleksiy remembers that when he was very small and went to bed, his father would put a soccer ball next to him. It was believed that this would help him become a professional football player.

Now the boy's father is a military man who, back in 2014, stood up for the defense of the country, and when the full-scale invasion of the Rashists on the territory of Ukraine began, the man went to defend the state borders again. The boy's mother is a confectioner, works at a factory. Oleksiy also has an older sister.

Oleksiy's family lived all his life in Oleksandrivka, Kherson region. Unfortunately, the boy's native village is under temporary occupation. When the orcs invaded the village, the parents managed to leave, and Oleksiy a little earlier. The boy's family moved to Lutsk, where he still lives.

Oleksiy was involved in football at Skadovsk Junior High School. Later, he got to Shakhtar, where he stayed for several years. After that, the boy transferred to the "Kryvbas" Academy. 

- I really like the Academy, the most is the team, it is very cool and positive, as they say - charged to win. Every pupil of "Kryvbas" has a goal - to achieve more. It's cool that you can realize yourself here, because the way the Academy develops, there is no such thing anywhere, - notes Oleksii.

The boy lives with other young football players at the base of the Academy. He says that all the conditions for development and recreation have been created here: a great gym, delicious food and modern and comfortably furnished rooms. The young football player notes that everyone at the base follows strict rules and he feels safe.

- All rules are strictly followed at the base, especially those related to the air alarm. As you can see, my parents let me go to Kryvyi Rih and I feel safe. When the siren sounds, we immediately go down to the shelter, - says Oleksii.

The boy emphasizes that the most important thing is discipline and training, because the "Kryvbas" Academy provides great opportunities for the development of football players. Currently, the young football player plays for "Kryvbas" U-15. Midfielder position number 23. Singles out his coaches and notes that they are cool and have a lot to learn from, having played in professional teams and at the highest level in their time.

Oleksiy trains hard and dreams of becoming a professional football player at FC Kryvbas. The boy admits that he wants to become the pride of the Academy.
