TOP-12 main events of FC "Kryvbas" in 2025
We continue to summarize the passing year of 2025. And now we want to present to you our version of the TOP-12 events of 2025 for the great red-white Family "Kryvbas". Let's remember together how it was.
1. Appointment of Patrick van Leeuwen as head coach of FC Kryvbas.
On June 9, 2025, FC Kryvbas announced the appointment of Patrick van Leeuwen as the team's head coach. The results of the Dutch coach, who works with the youngest UPL team, speak for themselves.
2. Return of Ultras to the stands of the "Girnyk" stadium.
The return of the Ultras Club to the stands was a real event for everyone who missed live emotions, red and white flags, and loud slogans. This happened before the match of the 8th round of the UPL "Kryvbas" - "Kudrivka". With such support, the result could not have been different - a confident 3:1 victory.
In April, the Kryvyi Rih Football Club together with the Kryvyi Rih Business Union organized a charity auction to support the families of the children killed in the tragedy that occurred on April 4, 2025 in Kryvyi Rih. Then, as a result of the attack, 20 people died, including 9 children. Thanks to the charity auction, in which you could participate both offline and online, funds were collected for the affected families - 1,693,000 hryvnias, which were added to the large collection.
4. Five years since the Day of Revival of FC "Kryvbas".
On August 20, 2025, FC "Kryvbas" celebrated the fifth anniversary of the revival of the Club. It was on this day in 2020 that it was announced that "Kryvbas" is returning to the football map of Ukraine and will participate in professional competitions.
5. Presentation of the official application of FC "Kryvbas".
The KRYVBAS application is a modern hub, thanks to which fans of the red and whites regularly receive a maximum of interesting information about their favorite Club and an extremely large number of exclusives. The application is full information about the Club, as well as the sale of tickets, season tickets, branded products of the club fan shop, etc.
6. Anniversary 750th goal of "Kryvbas" in the UPL.
In the 727th match of "Kryvbas" in the elite of Ukrainian football, a significant event took place. Our Club celebrated its anniversary with the 750th goal in the UPL. It was the second goal of "Kryvbas" captain Maksym Zaderaka in the away match of the 3rd round of the UPL against "Zora" Luhansk (3:2).
7. "Kryvbas" WU-15 - 3-time champions of Ukraine.
In June, after the victory in the final against "Ladomyr" WU-15, "Kryvbas" WU-15 officially became the 3-time champion of Ukraine for the third year in a row!
8. The first summer football camp FCKK CAMP from FC Kryvbas.
The summer of football starts here! It was under this motto that the main sports event of the summer in Kryvyi Rih took place! "Kryvbas" Football Club invited boys and girls from 6 to 13 years old to a summer football camp at the "Kryvbas" FA base. A week of training, cool events, exclusive meetings - it turned out bright and unforgettable.
9. "Kryvbas" U-15 - silver medalist of the DUFLU 2024/2025 championship.
Our team was even close to the championship, but lost twice in the last 15 minutes in the decisive match against peers "Rukh".
10. Opening of the updated educational building "UFK-Kryvbas" in Dnipro.
In December, the "Kryvbas" Football Club officially opened a renewed boarding house for young football players of our Dnipro branch, "UFС-Kryvbas". This opening was a step in the development of the football infrastructure of the Red and Whites, as well as a confirmation of the systematic support of young athletes who represent the Club at various levels.
11. Calling up the players of the red and white "Kryvbas" family to the national team of Ukraine.
The success and progress of the FC "Kryvbas" players of various age categories does not go unnoticed by football specialists. In the past year, a number of red and white football players received calls to the national team of Ukraine, and we are sure that this is only the beginning. Danylo Sychov - U-17, Ivan Zadoienko - U-17, Ivan Tymoshenko - U-17, Yevhen Kozachuk - U-15, Oleksandr Kamenskyi - U-19, Ramir Hubenko - U-19, Yevhen Maiakov - U-19.
12. FA "Kryvbas" started a training course for Academy coaches.
Kryvbas Football Academy in cooperation with Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University launched a course for our coaches. The training will last six months, the trainers will attend 56 classes that will help them in their professional activities.
