For your attention, the fourth part of the material about the players of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas", which in 2021 entered the First League. We continue to remember the footballers who contributed to our club's first promotion since the revival.
Striker Evgeny Katelin, 29 years old - 1 match.
The experienced forward started the League Two season on the bench, losing the competition for a starting spot to goalscorers Chernia and Burke. He got damaged, so he got into the application for matches in the first round only 7 times. Played a total of only 1 match - 4 minutes in the match against Victory.
Quite predictably, in the winter of 2021, by mutual consent of the parties, the agreement was terminated early. After "Kryvbas" he moved to "Krystal", but he did not manage to gain a foothold there either. Subsequently, he defended the colors of amateur clubs. He currently lives in Kharkiv, developing his own business.
Goalkeeper Dmytro Chernysh, 25 years old - 1 match, conceded 2 goals.
A pupil of Kryvyi Rih football. He was in the application form of "Kryvbas" for the 2020/2021 season of the Second League, but lost the competition to the more experienced Roman Lyopka and Kyryl Zlotary. Played only 1 match - against "Energia" - 4:2. In that game, with the score 0:1 in favor of the opponent, he parried a penalty.
He started the next season, already in the First League, in Kryvyi Rih. After that, he was loaned to the second league "Lyubomir", where he was the main goalkeeper. In the winter, he left Kryvbas as a free agent. He could have transferred to "Balkans", where he was on the screening that same winter, but the war made adjustments to the plans of many, including Dmytro. Currently, he does not play football professionally.
Defender Serhii Voronin, 36 years old – 0 matches (1 match in the Cup of Ukraine)
Voronin came to Kryvbas as a free agent at the beginning of the first round of the Second League. Due to injury, he did not play a single match in the championship, although he was twice in the application for matches against "Peremoha" and "Mykolayev-2". A student of Kyiv football, who was invited to the Dynamo school by the ex-coach of the Ukrainian national team, Oleksandr Petrakov, played his only match for Kryvbas in the match of the Second Preliminary Round of the Cup of Ukraine against Tavria.
Voronin, who spent most of his professional career with Sevastopol (2011-2014: 65 matches), started the game but was replaced by Golub at halftime. "Kryvbas" won that match at home 4:1. In the winter off-season, Voronin left Kryvyi Rih. After "Kryvbas" he played for almost a year in the capital's second league "Left Bank". In 2022, he moved to the Polish club Tigrysh, which plays in the third division of the local championship.
Defender Arseniy Protsyshyn, 27 years old - 2 matches.
The right defender, a student of Dnipro football, became a player of "Kryvbas" in the first round of the 2020/2021 season. But the football player, who had previously played in the lower divisions of Slovakia, Poland and Austria, failed to gain a foothold in the team of Gennady Prykhodka. As a result, only 2 matches: against "Energia" and "Mykolayev-2".
In January, our club and the player decided not to renew the contract by mutual agreement of the parties. After "Kryvbas", he defended the colors of "Krystal" and "LNZ". The last club is the amateur "Youth", which he left in April 2023.
Midfielder Yevhen Nikolashin, 20 years old - 1 match.
Another pupil of the Kryvyi Rih football school. Before playing in the main team, he played for the youth team. Unfortunately, he managed to play only 1 match for Kryvbas in the Second League, although he had high hopes. Like most of the young players from Kryvyi Rih, before debuting in the First League, he went on loan to the second division "Lyubomyr".
He was one of the key players there - 15 matches, 1 goal. After the start of the war, he played on temporary loan in the youth team of the Hungarian "Kishvarda". In the summer of 2022, he returned to Kryvyi Rih, held meetings with the main team, which was already headed by Yuriy Vernydub. However, he did not manage to gain a foothold in the new team. In September, by mutual agreement of the parties, the contract with "Kryvbas" was terminated.
After Kryvyi Rih he played in "Metalist" U-19. He recently signed a full-fledged contract with Khmelnytskyi "Podillya", which plans to return to the First League next season.
Midfielder Ivan Kozak, 21 years old - 1 match.
Kozak, a quick left-footed full-back, was one of the hopefuls for the future. He played for the youth team "Kryvbasa", but he was not destined to gain a foothold in the main team. In the 2020/2021 season, Ivan played only 1 match for the red and whites: 13 minutes in the last round against Cherkasy "Dnipro" - 3:1.
The pupil of the Kryvyi Rih football team went on loan to the second division "Krystal" after the release of "Kryvbas" to the First League. And there he became one of the leaders of the team: 19 matches, 2 goals in the first round. In the summer of 2022, after the start of the full-scale invasion of the Rashists in Ukraine, Yuriy Vernydub already held meetings with Kryvbas. However, in September of the same year, he left Kryvyi Rih by mutual consent of the parties. Since then, he has been in shape on his own and is looking for a new club.
