For your attention, the first part of the material about the players of Kryvyi Rih "Kryvbas", which in 2022 went to the UPL. We remember the football players who contributed to the club's return to the elite after the revival.
Midfielder Milyan Govedarica, 28 years old – 11 matches/2 goals.
At the end of June 2021, Kryvbas signed Bosnian midfielder Miljan Govedarica. Then the player became the first legionnaire of the club after the revival. Govedaritsa moved to Kryvyi Rih, having considerable experience of performing in his homeland. But Milian failed to become the main player in Kryvbas. In the first part of the season, he played 10 matches for Kryvyi Rih, scored 1 goal plus 1 match and 1 goal in the Cup of Ukraine - against Mykolaiv.
And if in the Cup his goal did not particularly help Kryvbas, because the team was then eliminated from the draw after a series of penalties, then in the championship in the 3rd round in Horishniy Plavnyi, an accurate header by Govedarica, who made his debut as a substitute, brought the red and white team three points - 2:1.
In mid-February 2022, FC "Kryvbas" and the football player terminated cooperation by mutual consent of the parties. After that, Milyan returned to his native Bosnia, where he signed a contract with the middle-class team of the Higher League - "Leotar". He did not stay there for long: in just six months, he went to the little-known Swiss club "Bosna Neuchâtel", where he still plays to this day.
Defender Andriy Mostovy, 35 years old – 12 matches.
The experienced full-back appeared in "Kryvbas" in the summer of 2021, like most of the newcomers, who were supposed to strengthen the squad before debuting in the First League. He moved to Kryvyi Rih as a free agent from "Desna", to which he devoted six years of his professional career. He missed some time in "Kryvbas" due to an injury.
In 9 out of 12 matches of the season, he played for "Kryvbas" from the first to the last minute. Was a base player. In the winter of 2022, after the start of the war on the Russian side, he played on a temporary loan in Georgia for the first league "Shevardeni". After that, in the fall of 2022, there was the German "Duisburg". Since 2023, he has been protecting the colors of the German "Menden".
Midfielder Wagner Gonçalves, 27 years old – 9 appearances/2 goals.
In July 2021, before debuting in the First League, Kryvbas rented Wagner from Dnipro-1. Gonçalves is still the second player from Brazil in the history of Kryvbas after Wesley Ribeiro. In the first part of the first round, the player appeared on the field not so often, but with the arrival of a new coach, Oleksandr Babich, he got much more game practice.
Scored two goals, both important. In the goal of "Agrobusiness" - 1:1 and the victorious "Volyn" - 2:1. He was one of the favorites of Kryvyi Rih fans. In the winter of 2022, he returned to Dnipro-1, after which he played in Georgia and North Macedonia. "Dila", "Shkendia", then Georgia again, only now "Dynamo" Tbilisi. He has been playing for the latter since January 2023.
Midfielder Oleksiy Zbun, 25 years old – 21 matches/4 goals.
Zbun joined Kryvbas in the 2021 winter offseason as a free agent from Hirnyk-Sport. In the second round of the Second League, one of the key players of the team was Gennady Pryhodka. He has 12 matches and 4 goals, including the winning one against Nikopol. In the debut season of "Kryvbas" in the First League, he lost his place in the starting line-up, and later suffered a serious injury.
After that, he could no longer play for Kryvbas. In the winter of 2022, Zbun continued to undergo rehabilitation after the injury. In February, the Rashists started a war against Ukraine, and after that Oleksiy, like most of the Kryvbas football players, did not return home. The player is currently playing in Lithuania. For half a year he played for the top league "Dzhyugas", and from January 2023 for the top league "Suduva".
Defender/midfielder Nazar Malinovskyi, 25 years old – 27 matches/1 goal.
Nazar is a football player who played in the Second League with Kryvbas and then played in the First League. In the Second League, Hennadiy Pryhodka was a key player on the defensive flank of the team. 19 matches/1 goal, and most matches in the base. A nominal midfielder, but in "Kryvbas" he found himself in defense.
After the team was promoted in class and with the arrival of new players, he lost his place in the team. He managed to play only 5 matches in the First League. After the start of the full-scale invasion of the Rashists in Ukraine, Zambruw played on a temporary loan in the Polish "Olympia", which plays in one of the lower leagues of Poland. Nazar still performs there.
